"Self Portrait With Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird” was painted in 1950 by the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

Kahlo. painted a lot “self-portraits”, or pictures of herself, in many different backgrounds. She loved to include animals and plants from her native Mexico, which she loved very much. She was married to the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera.
